"It is teachers who, in the end, will change the world of the school by understanding it."

--L. Stenhouse

Action research is a terrific way for a teacher to engage in self-directed and collaborative professional development. It is a facilitated process in which participants examine their own teaching practice systematically and carefully using the techniques of teacher research. On this page, you will find detailed information including guidelines, abstracts and past studies, and info flyer/applications for this year's C.A.R. groups.
